Informative, practical monthly meetings.
No meetings in December or January.
Bi monthly news letter with loads of information relevant to the current Rotorua beekeeping season.
Support system if in trouble or have questions. We try to team up new beekeepers with experienced mentors.
Meet other people with bees so you can learn and swap ideas.
Group deals on varroa treatments, nucs and hive equipment.
Access to a growing beekeeping library.
Ability to hire the club extractor and other equipment for a nominal rental.
Rotorua Honey Bee Club is a member of ApiNZ. This entitles you, as a member of the Rotorua Honey Bee Club, to a discount for honey testing from Hill Laboratories or Analytica Laboratories.

Club funds are put towards equipment, books, room hire, bulk purchases and guest speaker remuneration.
