Who are we?

Established fourteen years ago & officially a club for thirteen years, our aim is to promote beekeeping through local support, knowledge & education.

Generally, meets monthly, in season at our club apiary site in Ngongotaha or autumn & winter at local venue.
Every two months we send out a comprehensive newsletter detailing what is happening in the hive &what we should be doing as beekeepers.
We have over one hundred members with a good blend of experienced beekeepers & those new to beekeeping.
We support those new to beekeeping by assisting to obtain a beehive & when requested can set up buddy mentoring arrangement.
Financial members able to hire extracting equipment & bulk items discount.
